VENRO’s central goal is to shape a just globalisation, with a particular focus on overcoming global inequality and poverty. The organisation is dedicated to upholding human rights and protecting natural resources. One of the key topics in 2020 was the opportunities and risks of digitalisation in Africa and Europe.

This film was part of a campaign and a series of workshops exploring this theme. I’m truly grateful to have had the opportunity to realise this challenging project alongside so many wonderful people — both in front of and behind the camera. The film was written entirely by Andreas Ridder. The cast was found both on the street and through collaboration with Tanja Schwichtenberg Casting. The film was edited by Stefanie Riedel.
